BANGKOK – 18 August 2020 – GOCO Hospitality has today announced that Clive McNish, Former General Manager of Glen Ivy Hot Springs, has returned to Bangkok to assume the new position of Group Director – Operations at their company’s headquarter office.
Working for GOCO Hospitality in various roles since 2014, McNish first joined as General Manager of a GOCO wellness resort project in Beijing, China, before becoming the company’s Corporate General Manager and then assuming the General Manager role at Glen Ivy Hot Springs, America’s oldest hot springs resort acquired by GOCO Hospitality in 2016.
At Glen Ivy Hot Springs, McNish led a three-phase, multi-million dollar renovation project that included a global repositioning, new amenities and exclusive services that helped position the hot springs resort as the highest-grossing day spa in the United States with over $30 million of annual revenue and more than 220,000 visitors per year.
After nearly four years at Glen Ivy Hot Springs, McNish returned to Thailand before undertaking this new role at GOCO Hospitality corporate office as Group Director – Operations. Here he will apply his considerable operational experience to ensure the successful opening, operation and management of all GOCO Hospitality-branded spas and retreats.
Previously, McNish served four years as Wellness Director and General Manager at Kamalaya Wellness Resort, a leading destination spa Koh Samui, Thailand.
