GOCO Spa Venice opening at JW Marriott Venice Resort & Spa

Bangkok – 13 January 2015 - GOCO Hospitality, a leading wellness hospitality consulting and management company, is delighted to launch its GOCO Spa brand in Europe with the opening of GOCO Spa Venice at the JW Marriott Venice Resort & Spa in early spring 2015. Designed in collaboration with award-winning Italian architect firm Mattheo Thun & Partners, the spa is the largest in the city, offering 1,750 square meters of dedicated indoor and outdoor facilities.

Located on a private island, just a short water taxi ride from the beautiful and iconic city of Venice, the €8 million spa project enjoys spectacular views of St Mark’s Square and La Serenissima. 

The hotel buildings and the spa have been sensitively refurbished by Matteo Thun & Partners to incorporate sustainable, modern and elegant design within a historic building. 

“GOCO Spa” is GOCO Hospitality’s newly launched global spa brand that will operate in selected luxury hotels globally. GOCO Spa Venice occupies over 1,750 square meters of indoor and outdoor wellness facilities. It features eight treatment rooms, a spa suite, an outdoor and indoor aquatonic pool, a traditional hamam, advanced beauty rooms, outdoor yoga/meditation gardens, outdoor express treatment pavilions and a tea lounge.

Designed to set a new standard in the Italian wellness sector, GOCO Spa Venice offers a complete programme of treatments that combine the latest cosmetic innovations from prestigious brands like !QMS Medicosmetics and Amala. 

The indoor and outdoor aquatonic pool will offer air and water jet features such as Hydro back benches, air tubs and neck massage jets. Hot loungers and outdoor relaxation areas will be available around the pool with uninterrupted views over the Venetian lagoon. In addition to the aquatonic pool, the wet area will feature sensorial and experiential showers, a bio sauna with salt wall, a hamam with scrub room and a classical sauna.

The luxury spa suite has been designed, as a private “spa in a spa” and will provide a highly personalized guest experience with a private indoor and outdoor thermal area. All eight treatment rooms will have private changing rooms, bathrooms, shower facilities and private terraces with spectacular views.
