GOCO Spa Venice Receives Industry’s Stamp of Approval

Bangkok, 23 June 2015. GOCO Hospitality’s latest opening, GOCO Spa Venice received the SENSES Wellness Award 2015 as “Best New European Spa”. 

Bangkok, 23 June 2015. GOCO Hospitality’s latest opening, GOCO Spa Venice received the SENSES Wellness Award 2015 as “Best New European Spa”. The awards were presented at a night of glitz and glamour, during the International Tourism Fair in Berlin, bringing together the best of the best from the hotel and tourism industry.

Ingo Schweder, founder and CEO of GOCO Hospitality, commented: "GOCO Spa Venice is our first GOCO Spa in Europe, and we have invested over two years of preparation into its opening. We are therefore delighted that after such a short time we have received recognition from an international expert jury for our distinct and innovative approach."

SENSES, the international health and lifestyle guide, has served as a barometer for the world's finest spas, most exclusive destinations, and most outstanding gourmet restaurants for the past 20 years. Award nominees are only able to enter upon special invitation by the SENSES jury, and are judged on a variety of criteria including number of treatments in the spa, quality of service, compliance with standards, and more. Previous winners in the same category were: Kurhaus Cademario Hotel & Spa and THE SPA im Steigenberger Frankfurter Hof.

GOCO SPA Venice is located at the 266 room JW Marriott Venice Resort & Spa on the picturesque private island Isola delle Rose, only 10 minutes away from downtown Venice. The GOCO Spa Venice provides a wellbeing menu that authentically reflects the stunning surroundings. Spanning approximately 1,750 square metres, the GOCO Hospitality-managed spa will offer indoor and outdoor facilities, a traditional hammam, advanced beauty rooms, an outdoor yoga/meditation gardens, outdoor express treatment pavilions, a tea lounge as well as a seasonal macrobiotic cooking school.
